Locals Make a Drastic Change in Garbage Disposal Site: Transform Into Beach Park

February 17: A place at Badanidiyoor near Malpe which was filled with garbage has been transformed into a beautiful beach park by the locals. Durgamba Yuvaka Vrinda and Mahila Vrinda along with locals took up the work of transforming the garbage site into the park.
These organizations washout seeking any help from the government, managed the fund and built the park within 10 months. The park has a 6.5 ft tall statue of Subhash Chandra Bose, Swing, slide concrete hut and also benches for tourists.
There are plans to start food services at the park for the people visiting the park.
