Malpe boat anchor, a place for breeding mosquitoes? Check here

July 25: Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati said that Stagnant water that aid breeding of mosquitoes should be destroyed. DC Hephsiba visited Malpe and instructed officers to take precautionary measures to control the spread of communicable diseases. She also visited the place where boats were anchored in Malpe.
The mosquito-breeding areas include the water storage tanks in the boats and the areas where water is accumulated and remains stagnant. The deputy commissioner has instructed that fogging should be taken up in the areas where mosquitoes breed.
