Man attempts to raise funds for BSNL Tower through Donation Box! More about this

August 5: A shopkeeper at Aladangady in Belthangady taluk, frustrated with the poor network services provided by BSNL  has kept a donation box at his shop to collect money and purchase fuel to help BSNL operate its mobile tower without any interruption.
The quality of the network is affected during a disruption in the power supply as the tower runs on electricity. As BSNL is the only telecom company which is providing service in the interior areas of Belthangady taluk, the interruption causes inconvenience to the people.
There are jokes doing rounds saying that BSNL does not have funds for the fuel to run its towers during load shedding.
