Man from Kasargod Illegally Entered Mangalore Airport’s Terminal: Family Being the Reason

September 16: The CISF personnel at Mangalore International Airport detained a man for allegedly entering the terminal building using a fake e-ticket.
The person has been identified as Arif Kothikka, a resident of Kasaragod. He was detained at 11.45 pm on Saturday, September 14 at the departure gate, while he was proceeding to exit the terminal building.  On questioning, he said that he entered the terminal building by showing a fabricated e-ticket of SpiceJet flight  SG 59 to Dubai scheduled to leave at 12.54 am on Sunday. He had manipulated the travel documents and included his name in the e-ticket to gain entry into the terminal building. He has entered the terminal to see of his four family members who were to leave on the same flight.
He has been handed over to local police and a case was registered at Bajpe police. Bajpe police have registered a case and are investigating.
