Mangalore Airport Simplifies The Process For Claiming Lost Items: Click to Know More

Each month, an average of 150 items are lost at the Mangalore International Airport and the lost and found unit ensures that passengers are reunited with their lost possessions. The claim process has been simplified.

All such items found are deposited with the terminal manager and an entry is made in the register. A person who has misplaced an item may contact the terminal manager’s office during office hours and produce travel documents and proof of ownership of the item lost to reclaim it.
In case, one misplaces the item(s), passengers should report the loss to the nearest May I Help you counter or the TMs office. Claim time is from 9.30 am-5.30 pm (Mon-Fri). email: hod_tmmanga ore@aai.aero.

The most common items retrieved and handed in are Aadhaar, voter identity, debit, credit and PAN cards. Passengers also leave behind mosquito bats, slippers, neck pillows, cell phones and even gold.
