Mangalore-Bangalore Trains Cancelled Again Following Landslip Near Sakleshpur: Click For Details
The train services on Mangalore-Bangalore sector have been disrupted again within a week, following a landslip between Ballupete and Sakleshpur stations in Hassan district.
The South Western Railway has cancelled SMVT Bangalore – Murdeshwar (16585), Murdeshwar – SMVT Bangalore (16586), KSR Bangalore – Karwar (16595), Karwar – KSR Bangalore (16596), KSR Bangalore – Kannur (16511), Kannur – KSR Bangalore (16512), Yeshwanthpur – Mangalore (16539) and Vijayapura – Mangalore Central (07377) commencing journey on Saturday. Similarly, Mangalore – Yeshwanthpur (16540), Mangalore Central – Vijayapura (07378), Yeshwanthpur – Mangalore Junction (16575) scheduled to commence journey on August 18 and MangaloreJunction – Yeshwanthpur (16576) scheduled for August 19 have been cancelled.
The Vijayapura – Mangalore Central (07377) that commenced on Friday has been partially cancelled between Hassan and Mangalore. Mangalore Central – Vijayapura (07378) that will commence on Saturday will be partially cancelled between Mangalore Central and Hassan.
Besides that, the SWR has diverted five trains. Mangalore Central – Vijayapura (07378) has been diverted via Mangalore Junction, Karwar, Madagaon, Londa, and Hubbali. KSR Bengaluru – Karwar (16595) has been diverted via Arasikere – Hubballi, Londa, and Madagaon. Karwar – KSR Bengaluru (16596) has been diverted via Madagon, Londa, Hubballi, and Arasikere. KSR Bangalore – Kannur (16511) has been diverted via Jolarpettai, Salem, and Shoranur. Kannur – KSR Bangalore (16512) has been diverted via Shoranur, Salem, and Jolarpettai.
