Mangalore International Airport Starts With Quarantine Stamping: Check Out
March 20: Mangalore International Airport has started with the procedure of stamping of patients who need to be quarantined. All international passengers are screened for Covid-19 symptoms at the airport and stamping is being done for the patients who need to be quarantined.
Passengers are divided into three categories based on their health condition.
All passengers above 65 who have blood pressure diabetes or any other ailments and symptoms of Covid-19 will be will be under ‘A’ category & are being shifted to Wenlock Hospital or private hospital to to be kept under quarantine.
Passengers who are asymptomatic are identified under ‘B’ category and sent to the government facility at ESI hospital in the city for quarantine. Those who have no symptoms are classified as C category and will be allowed home quarantine for 14 days. Those who are in home quarantine have been given a set of guidelines which they should follow strictly. The district administration’s call centre staff will be in touch with them to confirm their health condition.
