Mangalore Receives Rainfall Accompanied With Lightening & Thunder: Yellow Alert Issued Till Friday

Several areas of Mangalore received rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. Other parts of Dakshina Kannada district which received rainfall are Puttur, Belthangady and Sullia too received rainfall. In Puttur and Bantwal. The Weather Department had issued yellow alert since Friday.

Rains accompanied by strong winds has caused some damage with trees falling over houses in DK district. As many as seven houses were damaged due to strong winds and tree falling incidents.
