Mangalore Records Second Highest Temperature of 38.8 deg C in The Country on Wednesday
Mangalore experienced the second highest temperature of 38.8 deg C in the country on Wednesday. IMD has warned of rise of about two to three degrees in temperature in coming days.
The temperature that was recorded in Mangalore on Wednesday is the maximum since 2010. So far 37.9 deg C recorded in 2017 was the highest. Six days ago, on March 2, the city recorded 37.9 deg C, which was again highest in the country. The prevailing temperature is 5.4 deg C more than usual for this period. On Wednesday, Karwar recorded 38.6 deg C, which is six deg C more than usual for this time of the year.
The main reason for the increase in temperature is the dry weather and heat wave that is blowing from North to South. In the month of April, the temperature will increase by six degrees in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada.
