The South India Masters Athletics Association is gearing up to host the South Asia Masters Athletics Championship in Mangalore in Jan next year. Nearly 2,000 athletes from various parts of Asia are likely to participate in the event, which will be held at the Mangala Stadium from Jan 10 to 12.
Association general secretary Udaya Kumar Shetty said that they expect the participation of nearly 2,000 athletes from India and other parts of the world in the South Asia Masters Athletics Championship 2025. All arrangements will be in place to ensure free food and accommodation for the participants from other states. Association president Surendra Shetty, vice-presidents Premanath Shetty and Gouri Shankar were present.
