Mangalore Tourism To Get Another Boost: Water Sport Club All Set To Start

December 17: The tourism department of Dakshina Kannada district along  with a Samruddhi water sports is all set to open a water sports club in Mangalore. The club which will come up at Kuloor in Mangalore is expected to be inaugurated on January 2, 2021.
Initially the club will have four boats which will have the capacity to accommodate 25 tourists. The boat with tourists will sail from Kuloor to Ullal and to Maravoor. Additionally, four-seater boats will also be introduced. Along with this, house boats and other water sports activities will also be introduced in the club.
Entry fee of Rs 50 per head will be collected, along with separate coupons for boating and other activities. While water sports will be allowed between 9.30am to 6.30pm, cultural programmes on traditions of Tulunad will be presented in the evenings.
