Mangalore & Udupi Likely to Receive Heavy Rainfall on December 2 & 3: Yellow Alert Issued

A yellow alert has been issued for 10 districts of Karnataka, including Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, on December 2 and 3 as as heavy rains are predicted in these areas due to the impact of Cyclone Fengal, formed in the Bay of Bengal.

IMD said that moderate rains are expected in the south interior parts of the state and the coastal region until December 3, with some areas likely to experience heavy rainfall. Cloudy weather has prevailed across most of the south interior parts of Karnataka due to the cyclone’s effect.
