Mangalorean Basketball Player Gets Selected to Play For The Indian Men’s Basketball Team

Mangalorean basketball player Shashank J Rai has been selected to play for the Indian men’s basketball team.  The Indian Men’s Basketball Team will participate in the South Asian Basketball Championship, which will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh’s capital city,  between November 15 to 20.

Shashank is the first basketball player from Mangalore to play for the country.  He is a member of the Mangalore basketball club, where he is coached by Aditya Mahale and club president Naveen Shetty.
