Mangalorean BJP Worker to Start His Four Day Padayatra to Temples: Hats Off To His Dedication
October 3: BJP worker Avikshith Rai, prior to the Parliamentary elections, had taken a pledge to hold a ‘Padayatra’ to different temples, if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nalin Kumar Kateel were re-elected to the Parliament.
Rai said that he will fulfill the pledge by taking out a ‘Padayatra’ to temples in the district starting October 4. This four-day journey will cover a distance of 120 km.
He will launch the ‘Padayatra’ on October 4, from the BJP district office to Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple. The next day, he will conduct a ‘Padayatra’ to Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple and will end the ‘Padayatra’ at Hanumagiri Eshwaramangala Temple. Rai is expected to fulfil his vow on the day of Vijayadashami.
Avikshith Rai has also requested the people to support his Padayatra and to contribute towards the flood relief fund.
