Mangalorean Boy, Ashwal Rai Awarded The Prestigious ‘EKLAVYA AWARD’: Know More About Him

Karnataka Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports Dr Narayana Gowda, released the list of Ekalavya, Karnataka Kreeda Ratna, Lifetime Achievement, Sports Sponsor awardees for the year 2020-21. As per the list, 15 sportspersons will be honoured with Ekalavya Award, 14 with the Karnataka Kreeda Ratna award, 10 organizations with the Sports Sponsor award, and 2 with lifetime achievement.

It is a proud moment for Mangalore as one of the awardee for the ‘EKLAVYA AWARD’ is from Mangalore. Ashwal Rai, a Volley Ball Player from Mangalore who represented the Indian National Volleyball team & currently is rated as the best blocker in Asia.
