Siya Shetty from Mangalore has won the silver medal in the junior category at the World Equipped Bench Press, 2022 happened in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Siya Shetty, the daughter of Reshma Shetty & Sharath Shetty is the 1st BSC student at Dr NSAM FGC Nitte. Siya has won several medals like Gold and Silver Medal in National level Powerlifting Benchpress championship held at Goa, Bronze Medal in State level benchpress championship held at Kudroli, Mangalore, Silver Medal in State level powerlifting competition held at Kundapura, Gold in state-level Benchpress Championship held at Davangere.
