MCC Commissioner Temporarily Stops All Smart City Works – Informs High Court: Click To Know Why

December 24: Mangalore city commissioner & MD of Mangalore Smart City Limited Akshy Sridhar informed the high court (HC) that all the works pertaining to Smart City project of Mangalore that are undergoing in city corporation limits will be stopped temporarily.
Akshy Sridhar informed that the respective contractors will be asked to stall the works related to Smart City project of Mangalore, till the rules of construction and demolition waste management of 2016 are followed. He made the statement during high court hearing on public interest litigation which alleged that smart city projects are spreading solid waste in the city.
