MCC Prepares Tender For The Construction of Bus Bays at Major Junctions in Mangalore City

The Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) has prepared a tender of 1.09 crore for constructing bus bays at major junctions in Mangalore city. An action plan has been submitted to the state government for the construction of bus bays at junctions like Bunts hostel, KPT, Mallikatte, Maryhill & Kulshekar under Mahatma Gandhi Urban Development Scheme. Bus bays are needed to ease the traffic on main roads of Mangalore city which has heavy traffic. Mangalore city Mayor Premananda Shetty said that along with constructing bus bays, the MCC will also develop major traffic circles & Junctions in the city.
