More Flights to Operate From Mangalore International Airport in Both Domestic & International Destinations

Mangalore International Airport (MIA) is set to increase the frequency of flights to its existing domestic and international destinations, starting in July. This move is expected to result in higher passenger footfalls at the airport.

Air India Express will commence daily flights to Abu Dhabi effective from July 22. The airline has already resumed its domestic flight operations to Bengaluru from July 5, bringing the total number of flights from MIA to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) to six per day, with IndiGo operating four and AIE operating the remaining two. AIE will also introduce tri-weekly flights between Mangalore and Bengaluru from July 22, in addition to the existing two daily flights, resulting in a total of 17 weekly flights in the MIA-KIA sector. IndiGo is currently operating 3 A321 aircraft with 232 seats and one A320 aircraft on this route.
