Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti organised in Mangalore: This is what Minister Khader said

June 28: The Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti programme was jointly  organised by district administration, Zilla Panchayat, Kannada Cultural Department and Vokkaliga Gowda Seva Sangha-Mangalore, at Ravindra Kala Bhavan in University College on Thursday, June 27.

Minister U T Khader, Parliament Secretary to Chief Minister Ivan D’Souza, Writer Aravind Chokkadi were also present  on the occasion.
While speaking during the programme, Minister U T Khader said that it is important to respect history to create history. The Karnataka government gives a lot of importance towards Kempegowda Jayanti as Kempegowda was the builder of Bengalore.
Minister Khader even mentioned that Jayantis were celebrated to unify all castes and therefore, people of all castes should participate and involve to celebrate all Jayantis.
