Nandini Brand to Provide More Milk For The Same Price to Its Customers: Know More About This

The Dakshina Kannada Co-op Milk Producers’ Union (DKMUL) has decided to provide 20 ml additional milk to its consumers per each half litre sachet of milk, for the same price. There has been huge reduction in milk consumption of milk during the lockdown and the union has shortage of storage space. The additional milk will be supplied to the customer who purchase half litre packet from June 1.
The union collects 5.6 lac litres of milk every day out of which about 1.5 lac litres remain unsold. About 12,000 litres of milk will be used to provide additional milk to the consumers. The union president Raviraj Hegde said that this is a temporary measure and will be a financial burden for the milk union.
