National Level Krishna Vesha Competition in Mangalore: Here are the Details
August 21: Kalkura Prathishtana has been celebrating Sri Krishna Janmashtami for the past three and a half decades at Kadri Sri Manjunatha Temple in the city.
This year too Kalkura Prathishtana will organise the National Level Children’s Festival – Shri Krishna Vesha Competition (fancy dress) on August 23 at Kadri Temple.
Below are the details of the competition:
Competitions in 30 categories will be held simultaneously at different venues which are Shri Krishna Janmamahotsava Samiti Main Stage, first and second floors of Abhishek Hall, Kalyana Mantap, Manjushri and at the platform near Ashwatha Katte.
All Krishna Vesha competition participant children will be honoured with an idol of Udupi Kadegolu Krishna made of Panchaloha, books on Sri Krishna,
certificate, photo of Lord Sri Manjunatha and prizes sponsored by well-wishers. There is no entry fee for the competitions. Participants will be offered hot milk, pedha and ice cream at the venues. Parents may get their children in costumes or make up may be done at the venue at their expense.
