NDRF Team to be Deployed in Dakshina Kannada Following Red Alert in The District

Revenue Minister R Ashoka chaired a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners of districts where red alert has been issued due to heavy to heavy rainfall. Dakshina Kannada is one among the districts which has been receiving heavy rainfall since two days.

Four NDRF teams will be stationed at Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Belagavi & Raichur. Also a stand-by vehicle will be kept ready in each of these districts for immediate response in case of floods and landslides.
