Negative RT-PCR Test Report Made Mandatory For People Traveling From Kerala to Dakshina Kannada

The district deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra said that the travellers coming from Kerala to Dakshina Kannada district should mandatorily possess negative RT-PCR test reports. The suspected delta variant cases have been traced in Kerala, after which the state government has asked to take precautionary measures on borders connecting Kerala and Karnataka. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, checkposts  have been set up 24/7 at Talapady, Nettanigemudnoor, Saradka, Jalsoor. Swab collection centres in the checkposts have also been set up. As the people in Kasargod district are interdependent on Dakshina Kannada for medical facilities, the patients while coming to the district should compulsorily carry a negative RT-PCR test report.
