New Police Commissioner Gives Importance to Three Points: Here They Are

August 14: New Police Commissioner of Mangalore City P S Harsha held his first formal meeting with city police officers to familiarise himself with issues and concerns of the city.
Commissioner stressed on three points which have to be top priority for police The three priorities he stressed were

• zero tolerance for rowdyism and illegal activities of all kinds
• heavy crackdown on drug mafia
• strengthening of basic policing at police stations with beat as focus

  Along with this, good initiatives adopted by past city police commissioners will also be continued, he said.
  The commissioner has encouraged the citizens to provide any specific information they get regarding any illegality in their area or surroundings to him any of the senior police officers of the city police commissionerate.
