New Year In Udupi: DC Jagadeesha Has A Message For The Residents

December 28: Udupi district DC Jagadeesha has decided to ban all new year celebrations across the district. He mentioned that government has issued a set of guidelines for new year and these rules will be in force from December 31 to January 2.
Public celebrations will not be allowed and also hotels and clubs cannot host new year event. The decision was taken as, experts are hinting on second wave of covid 19 hitting in the coming days.
DC also mentioned that people can celebrate new year in their houses and only green firecrackers must be used.
