Newly Appointed DC Sindhu Rupesh Working in Full Swing: Check Out

September 12: Sindhu Rupesh has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district recently. She visited the garbage slide-affected area at Pacchanady as well as  Mandara areas on Wednesday, September 11.

DC Sindhu has directed the officials to prepare a detailed plan for the disposal of already existing garbage at the site.  She also visited the Pacchanady victims who have been provided shelter at KHB Apartments at the Baithurli-Neermarga area and interacted with them.
Out of the 27 affected families in Mandara and Pacchanady areas, 17 had agreed for rehabilitation, where as the remaining 10 families are keen on going back to Mandara and had appealed to the Mangalore City Corporation to solve the garbage problem at the site. DC Sindhu has directed the officials to prepare a plan to identify the land to rehabilitate the victims.
