Night Curfew Issued in Dakshina Kannada: Order Applicable to Kambala & yakshagana Too

Due to the rising number of Omicron cases in the state, the Karnataka government has announced a night curfew from 10 P.M to 5 A.M for 10 days starting from 28 Dec 2021. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries will be allowed to have only 50% occupancy on 31 Dec 2021.

Dakshina Kannada district DC Rajendra K V stated that the order by state government to enforce night curfew will be strictly followed. All programmes that happen overnight including Kambala and Yakshagana should be stopped by 10 pm, the DC added.
