No Extension of Offline Property Tax Payment System: MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar

Many citizens and the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) have urged the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) to extend the offline SAS property tax payment facility till all technical glitches in the online system are resolved.

MCC commissioner Akshy Sridhar said that said offline property tax payment facility will not be reintroduced. he mentioned that all technical issues will be sorted. Also, extending the offline property tax payment system will defeat the very purpose of introducing online payment system for tax payment. The commissioner stated that they are working towards addressing all issues that taxpayers have been facing.
