Omicron Scare: Airlines Forced to Drop Ticket Price of Dubai-Mangalore Flights by 50%

Airfares of Dubai – Mangalore flights as the decreasing as several airlines are witnessing cancellations and less bookings due to omicron scare. The prices of return air tickets from Dubai to Mangalore have dropped by nearly 50% in December compared to October fares.

Airlines flying to the Middle East see rush of passengers during annual school vacation, Eid and Christmas holidays due o which the airfares usually double. The fares went up in October ahead of the holiday season in December but since there were not many bookings and this has forced the airlines to reduce ticket prices.

In October, Mangalore-Dubai one-way fare was priced around Rs 50,000 but the same tickets are in the range of Rs 21,000 to Rs 25,000 and around Rs 30,000 on weekends.
