Once Again Dakshina Kannada Is On Orange Alert: Heavy Rain With Lightning & Thunder Expected
June 17: Parts of Dakshina Kannada & Udupi Districts have experienced heavy rainfall accompanied with thunder and lightning on Tuesday night.
Several low lying areas are experiences floods.
Few roads have been covered with water making it difficult for the free movement of traffic.
The Indian meteorological department has predicted heavy rainfall in the coastal districts. The IMD has issued Orange alert on June 17 and yellow alert between June 18 and 21.
