Online Registration For One-Time Interstate Travel Launched In Dakshina Kannada: Check Out

May 3: Dakshina Kannada district administration has issued guidelines for one time inter district and inter state travel. As per the guidelines, only passengers with no symptoms of COVID 19 will be allowed to travel.
The people who need to travel to other states will have to submit an application online on sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in and register their names. Deputy commissioner Sindhu Rupesh said that people can also visit government offices like gram panchayat offices, Mangalore City Corporation zonal offices to seek assistance in applying online.
The applications will be processed at the state level and then permission to travel will be given by the government of Karnataka.
And for people who ant to travel within the district should submit an application at the nearest police stations in rural areas and in city limits at the office of the assistant commissioner of police. The commissioner of police and SP will process the applications in their respective jurisdictions.
the passengers who get the permit to travel will have to undergo screening by health authorities. The DC also mentioned that all expenses should be beard by the passengers themselves.
