Outreach programme on Declaration of Foreign Assets & Income hosted jointly by KCCI Mangalore & ICAI Mangalore.

An outreach programme was organised on December 14th, at the KCCI Meeting Hall, Chamber Building, Bunder, Mangaluru to disseminate information about the importance of Declaration of Foreign Assets & Income to the public at large. As December 31st is fast approaching, if foreign assets & income hasn’t been declared in the filed returns, the same can be revised & declared. The sessions on Overview of Foreign Assets, Reporting, Other Nuances, Role of CA’s in compliance were addressed by Shri Swaroop Mandava – Additional Director of Income Tax (Investigation), Mangaluru, Smt. Shamala D. D. – Joint Director of Income Tax, FAIU, Bengaluru, Shri Yogesh Chandra – Asst. Director of Income Tax, Unit 3 & 4, FAIU, Bengaluru & CA. Vineet Shetty – Partner, Shetty & Bhat, Udupi.
