Parking Fee at Malls: This is what DCP Lakshmi Ganesh said!

August 11:  DCP (Crime and Traffic) Lakshmi Ganesh K said that Malls cannot charge parking fee from customers. He mentioned that since many vehicle owners are not keen to pay the parking fee, vehicles are parked outside malls and  which leads to traffic congestion on roads.
DCP also mentioned that malls in Mysuru do not collect parking fees and a notification against collecting fee was being implemented by Mysuru City Corporation.
DCP Hanumantharaya passed orders to place barricades in order to prevent vehicle owners from parking their vehicles on footpaths.
