Patla Sathish Shetty Denied Chance to Perform at Kateel Mela: Supporters Stage a Protest at Nehru Maidan

November 26: Patla Sathish Shetty was denied chance to perform during the first performance of the Mela at Kateel prior to commencement of this year’s Mela tour or Thirugaata on Friday. The video of Sathish Shetty being asked to get down from the stage went viral on social media. This has angered his fans and supporters.
Supporters of Patla Sathish Shetty staged a protest at Nehru Maidan on November 25, Monday against Kalladi Deviprasad Shetty, director of the troupe for not allowing Shetty to perform on stage.
Kemaru Seer Sri Esha Vittaldasa Swamiji condemned the humiliation meted out to  a renowned artiste and urged the Temple management to solve the issue.
Several people gathered at the venue to take part in the protest.
