Pilikula Nisargadhama to Start Functioning in New Role From April 1: Know More

January 2: Mangalore’s popular tourist spot, Dr Shivram Karanth Pilikula Nisargadhama housing the Pilikula Biological park will be run as ‘Ecological Authority’ January 2021. The decision to convert the nisargadhama which is currently run as registered society to an authority was taken in 2018 but due to certain factors, the implementation was postponed.
All preparations are being made from January 2021 in order for this tourist spot to function as an authority. From April 1, it will function as an authority in full scale.
Dakshina Kannada DC Dr Rajendra said that a proposal of Rs five crore will be sent to the government for development works of Pilikula Biological Park authority.
