Police Commissioner Announced Traffic Restrictions at Several Places in Mangalore on January 17: Check Out

Chief minister Siddaramaiah will be visiting Mangalore city on January 17, Friday to participate in various programmes. In the wake of CM’s visit to the city Mangalore City police have imposed traffic restrictions.

Mangalore city police commissioner Anupam Agrawal said that thousands of people and guests are likely to arrive in the city to participate in various programmes. People are advised to avoid using vehicles on the roads to Mangalore International Airport, from 10.30am to 12pm and from 6pm to 8.30pm), Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall from 11.30am to 2pm, and Mangala Stadium from 5pm to 9pm. Except in emergency situations, people are advised to choose either alternative routes or change the timings of their travel. Those who are travelling to the airport should plan their travel in advance, the commissioner stated.

The city is likely to witness traffic congestion on the Airport- Kavoor -Bondel-Mary Hill Junction-KPT Circle-Bunts Hostel-Hampankatta-Clock Tower-Hamilton Circle-Rao & Rao Circle-Bavutagudde-Balmata-Kankanady-PVS Junction-Lalbagh-Narayana Guru Circle-Mangala Stadium-KSRTC-Bejai-Circuit House-Airport stretch. Hence, there will be restrictions on parking vehicles. People arriving to participate in programmes should park their vehicles at designated places.
