Power & Water Supply Disconnected At Central Market: Know More About This
June 13: Dakshina Kannada district administration had banned all wholesale & retail business at Central market in the wake of Covid-19. All the merchants who were carrying out business at the central market had to had to shift their business to the APMC yard in Bykampady after the lockdown. The Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) also had issued a public notice to close the central market.
The Central Market Merchants’ Association (CMMA), had decided that wholesale and retail merchants of the central market will recommence their business after relaxation of the lockdown but the Civic authorities disconnected power and water supply at the market.
This has irked Central Market Merchants’ Association (CMMA) who said they will continue their legal battle against the MCC.
