Prayer meeting held by Ivan D’Souza for good rainfall

May 21: MLC Ivan D’Souza held a prayer meeting for good rainfall in the coming monsoon at Kankanady Market recently. Many religious leaders from different communities along with Kadri Manjunath Temple’s management committee and Mangaladevi Temple management committee were present at the prayer meeting.
Ivan D’Souza said that the leaders from different religions have prayed for good rainfall and a bounty crop. We need water for everything, including drinking. Many things can be created, but not water, therefore our only option is to pray to God.
As part of the Ramzan celebrations, he announced an Iftar party at Fr Muller Convention Hall at 5 pm on May 29.
