Qatar Joins Kuwait And Bans Flights From India In The Wake Of CoronaVirus

March 10: The Middle East countries are banning entry of people from countries they suspect may carry the Covid-19 into their country. As a preventive measure, Qatar has banned the entry of Indian citizens, including citizens from 13 other countries from March 9 till further notice.
The countries, people of which are banned from entering the Gulf nation are – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Syria, Nepal, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, China, Philippine Bangladesh, Lebanon and South Korea.
Kuwait had earlier banned flights from foreign countries and now Qatar joins.
The decision will affect all people intending to enter Qatar from these countries including those with a residence or work permit, visa upon arrival and temporary visitors.
