Rain Lashes Several parts of Mangalore-Udupi: Heavy Rainfall Predicted For Next Four Days

Heavy rains lashed several parts of Mangalore & Udupi on Monday evening which continued till Tuesday. The weather was hot and humid till noon at Puttur, Bantwal and Sullia in Dakshina Kannada district and Udupi. However, it rained in the evening. As rain water overflowed in low lying areas vehicle drivers had tough time.

According to the India Meteorological Department there will be heavy rains till June 23 and 24 and yellow alert has been sounded in Dakshina Kannada & Udupi Districts. The department has predicted heavy rains coupled with thunder and lightning at a few places in the region.
