Rathotsava At Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple Not Open For Devotees This Year: Click To Know

March 17: The ‘Maha Rathotsava’ at Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple will be conducted in a simple manner on March 17, Tuesday on account of COVID-19. The temple committee has requested the devotees not to attend the rathotsava celebration in wake of coronavirus.

Arvind Sutagundi, executive officer of the temple,said that only the priests and the temple staff would be involved in the festival. All the rituals related to the festival will be conducted but there will be no festivities, he said. This is being done following the directions given by the Deputy Commissioner of the district on account of COVID-19.
