Ration Stores Have to Open at 7 in The Morning: Order From Dakshina Kannada & Udupi DCs

The deputy commissioners (DC) of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have ordered the ration stores or PDS (Public Distribution System) shop owners to open their shops at 7 am and distribute the ration to the public during lock down period.
As per the order, the shop owners have must issue slips or tokens to the customers waiting outside to the shop to collect the ration and people standing in the queue must not be sent back after 10 without distributing the ration meant for them. The owners have to ensure that social distancing has to be maintained while customers wait to collect the rations and also make arrangement of hand sanitizer as well as drinking water.
The DCs also mentioned that the store owner should display the quantity of distribution for the month of May 2021 and both raw and boiled rice should be distributed in equal quantities.
