Route March Taken Out by Mangalore Police in Wake of High Court Verdict on Hijab Row

A route march was held out by the police on the main roads of Mangalore on March 15, Tuesday in the wake of the High Court verdict on the Hijab row. Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar briefed the personnel prior to the route march. The route march passed through Lalbagh, PVS and Hampankatta. City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar addressed the police personnel. Holiday was declared to schools and colleges across Dakshina Kannada district as a precautionary measure.
