Satyagraha & Human Chain In Mangalore Tomorrow: Click To Know Why

January 29: Women members from ‘We the People’ organisation will stage a Satyagraha in front of the deputy commissioner’s office on January 30, for Martyr’s Day. They will also form a human chain under the slogan ‘Integration Against Violence’ at 5.17 pm.
Satyagraha will be observed with silence and is organised to create awareness on Gandhian values in which around 100 women will take part in the Satyagraha at 10 am. The human chain will be formed at 5.17 pm, the time when Gandhiji was assassinated.
Activist Vidya Dinker said that although the administration has not given permission for the Satyagraha, the members are hopeful of being allowed to organise.
