October 20: Veerendra Shetty who has made one of Tulu cinema’s biggest blockbusters – Chaali Polilu has made his first Kannada film Savarnadeergha Sandhi in which he has also made a debut as the lead actor. Shetty, who takes on multiple roles right from being the director, actor and writer has delivered his best in this movie.
The film has an interesting story in which a gangster  wants to do good to people, and also has a weakness for good Kannada grammar and pronunciation.

Muddanna is the leader of a gang that indulges in ‘positive rowdyism’ who is in love with Amruthavarshini, an aspiring singer. The film revolves around the gags and adventures of Muddanna and his gang.
Savarnadeergha Sandhi, which is filled with lots of Kannada grammar and pronunciation lesson makes the audience laugh with a different type of comedy.
