Section 144 Imposed Across Puttur Sub-Division Limits: Click to Know What Happened

Puttur Assistant Commissioner Dr Yathish Ullal has issued an order to enforce prohibitory orders under Section 144  across Puttur, Sullia, Kadaba and Belthangady taluks which come under the Puttur sub-division limits from December 15 to midnight of December 17.

The prohibitory order has been enforced following an appeal made by Puttur DySP  in the wake of Tuesday’s incident wherein police had lathicharged several workers of the PFI who had gathered in front  of the police station demanding release of three activists who were arrested in connection with a recent case of attack.
