Security made stronger at these beaches in Udupi

June 23: Security measures have been made stronger at udupi beaches due to the IMD prediction of rough sea condition this monsoon.
Pravasi Mitras have been increased in the district from 10 to 20.
Pravasi Mitras model have seven police personnel deployed at Malpe beach,  four police personnel at Kaup beach, four at Padubidri and Maravanthe beach and one police personnel at Shiroor beach. the police personnel operate at the beach between 10am to 7pm everyday.
Along with this, the beach development society will also prevent the public from entering into the beach.
Red flags and nets have been placed at Malpe beach alerting the people not to enter into the sea.
