Serene Sasihitlu Beach Filled With Empty Liquor Bottles & Plastic Bags: Check Out

December 1: Students of Narayana Sanil College in Haleyangadi, carried out a beach cleaning drive at Sasihitlu where national level surfing events are held.
The students were shocked to find dozens of empty liquor bottles, plastic bags and other trashes thrown carelessly on the beautiful beach stretch of Sasihitlu.
Environmentalist Dinesh Holla, who guides students to carry out cleanliness drives, said that tipplers generate tons of waste on beaches and forests.
He said there should be strict enforcement of rules to prevent people from making beaches and forests open bar and also pollute the beach environment by throwing plastic bags and containers.
Sasihitlu beach attracts tourists due to its beautiful expanse with greenery. Tourists visit the beaches both on weekdays and weekends.
