Several Parts of Dakshina Kannada Receives Rain: Yellow Alert is Declared in Coastal Districts
Several parts of Dakshina Kannada district received moderate to good rain on Tuesday May 10. Subramanya, Sullia, Beltangady, Uppinangady, Dharmasthala, Puttur, Moodbidri and Mangalore received rains. In Mangalore and surrounding areas the rain was good and water was flowing on the roads. At some places it rained even on Tuesday evening.
The drop in air pressure that has occurred in Bay of Bengal and South Andaman Sea is gaining momentum and there is every possibility that it may get converted into a cyclone. As per the present situation, the cyclone is like to hit Myanmar. Yellow alert is declared in coastal Karnataka for Wednesday.
